Jacob and Jack
The story of Daedalus and Icarus retold by Josh
and Cruz
There was once lived an
inventor. His name was Jack. He used his
skills to make laser assault rifles and a laser hovering tank. He was the best weapon maker of his time.
President
Donald Trump invited Jack to the United States of America. President Donald
Trump wanted Jack to build a war robot and a maze, as a home for his pet, the
Minotaur. The Minotaur was a monster, with the head of a bull on a human body.
Donald Trump loved the Minotaur and wanted him to have a nice home.
Jack was a
surprised at Donald Trump's choice of pet, but a job was a job. Jack planned to
make the maze a challenge, so that anyone who entered it would be lost until
rescued. That way Trump would be happy, the monster would be trapped, and the
people would be safe. Jack knew he could design such a maze. He really was a
good weapon designer.
Jack brought
his son Jacob with him. He was sure the child would enjoy testing military
weapons and visiting Disneyland. Jack
and Jacob were happy they had come. Donald Trump was happy with his maze. It
was peaceful and nice In the USA. Jack was happy.
One day, a
group of North Korean children sailed to North America. The next day, they
sailed safely away, taking Trump’s daughter Ivanka with them. and leaving
behind them one dead Minotaur.
Donald Trump
was sad. He did not believe anyone could have entered the maze and escape alive
without help from someone, most probably help from the man who had designed the
maze in the first place. Donald Trump punished Jack by keeping Jack and his
young son Jacob prisoners on the island of Alcatraz.
Jack tried
to think of ways to escape. One day, Jack noticed birds flying. It gave him an
idea. Wings. He needed a flying car. Jack began to collect all the scrap metal he
could find. He welded them together with weld metal. When two pairs of flying
cars were ready, he warned his young son not to fly to high or else the altitude
would be too high and it would break down.
Jack started
the cars. They took off. They left the country of the United States far behind
them. Water sparkled beneath them as far as they could see. The sky was blue.
The breeze was more than enough to keep them in the air
Jacob flew higher and higher. He flew so high that
before he knew what was happening, he had flown so high that the engine broke
down. Jacob felt himself falling. He tried to start it faster and faster. But
it was no use. Poor Jacob fell into the water and drowned. Jack sadly flew on.
Sadly, Jack continued alone.
